Intel Thu Duc
The Intel Products Vietnam (IPV) Factory is located in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City. With a total investment of USD 4.1 billion and a site area of more than 46 hectares, it is Intel’s largest chip assembly and testing facility within its global network.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
- Location: Lot I2, Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Thu Duc City (formerly District 9), Ho Chi Minh City.
- Investor: Intel Products Vietnam Co., Ltd.
- Project Scale: 13,000 m² of TPO and 40,000 m² of FPO.
- Investment: Initially USD 1 billion, with total registered investment now reaching USD 4.1 billion.
- Role: Intel’s largest chip assembly and testing facility globally, accounting for more than 50% of the company’s total production output.
- Workforce: Creates approximately 6,500 jobs for local workers.
- Completion: 2023.
