It is also a product testing organization with the highest standards in the US

FM Approvals is a global leader in third-party product testing and certification services. FM Approvals tests property loss prevention products and services—for use in commercial and industrial applications—to certify that these products and services meet stringent standards for loss prevention, in terms of quality, technical integrity and performance. FM Appovals tests products using a certification process based on over a century of scientific research and professional experience.

FM Approvals certification not only evaluates the product itself, but also the quality of the entire factory system. To achieve this certification, FM Approvals inspects the production facility and quality control processes, to ensure that the factory is capable of producing consistent products that correspond to the FM standard.
